The Essentials for Those Hot Days

When it is super hot, the first thing we toss out the window is style. Am I right? It doesn’t have to be that way. Stock up on a few items and you will be good to go. More importantly, you will be able to stay cool too!

A Lace Up Bodysuit and White Jeans

First, I don’t think white jeans get enough credit. They are versatile and a great basic for the summer (or anytime of the year). Then, add a bodysuit tank top. The lace up detail adds something different. This combo looks put together without too much going on. Additionally, here is a bonus tip: You can get this same bodysuit in a darker tone and wear it with basic jeans for a fall transition look!

A Henley Bodysuit and Shorts

Next, go with a henley bodysuit. Love me a henley anything! Add a fun color and make it a bodysuit – I am definitely in! It is no secret that I am into wearing denim shorts. Are my legs perfect? No, but that doesn’t matter as long as I feel good. Likewise, a henley and shorts is a little departure from the basic tank top and shorts.

“Putting on any clothes at all when it’s over 90° isn’t ideal, which is why finding ways to make very minimal attire look chic and presentable is key to surviving summer.”

A Tank Top and Button Up Shirt

Lastly, throw on a button up shirt over a tank top and shorts. This is another easy look. It lets you stay cool while looking a bit pulled together. Also, the shirt provides a pop of color!
