I am a size large/xl, 12. I am wearing a large.

Wide leg pants have been trending in my closet for a minute. I have a standard pair that are trouser style. I have been a fan of this cut because of how it mimics a flowy skirt. Add a high waist and I am in!

Then, I saw this pair and needed to try them! Here is the break down of this outfit formula.

Item 1. High Waisted Wide Leg Pants

First, the centerpiece of this look is this pair of pants. Not only are they high waisted, but they are also a paper bag waist style. Love a paper bag waist for curves! Also, these pants have a little something that is different than all of my other pants – a slit down the middle of each pant leg. So unique, right?

Item 2 – Sweetheart Neckline Tube Top

Next, I added a tube top. This balances out the flowy bottom half of my silhouette. It is all about creating that symmetry. I have this top in a few colors. I got a size large.

Item 3 – A Ruched Bag

Lastly, I added a bag that has some structure to it. I have this ruched handle bag in two colors. So cute and excellent quality.
