I stock up on a couple of maxi dresses every spring and summer. Throwing on a maxi dress just makes getting dressed easier.

Just add a couple of accessories and go! A maxi dress offers more coverage than most dresses. So, you can try different necklines to spice it up! Don’t worry, I linked my favorite strapless. I’m wearing an xl in all of these dresses.

A Halter Maxi Dress

First, go with a halter maxi dress. This is a neckline that you see in tank tops. You also see this style in camis. I love the way it shows off our shoulders. I like to add a belt to my maxi dresses. This brings some structure to an otherwise flowy dress. We don’t need to hide our silhouette ladies!

One Shoulder Maxi Dress

Next, go with a one shoulder maxi! I just got into this unique neckline about a year ago, last summer. Now, I am so into it. I have a few tops in this style. The one shoulder style adds some visual interest. Something different! Also, it is a bit edgy. This is definitely a style to try!

A  Backless Halter Max

Lastly, try a backless halter maxi. Yes, yes, yes, – This is a backless style. Listen, it is ok to show your back. Because, why not? If you are stressed about the neckline because you have to wear a strapless bra, check out my go-to bra here. I have a podcast episode about it as well. Got it in an xl.
