I took a quick trip to New York and wanted to pack light. The challenge was that everything needed to fit in a suitcase and duffle bag. I went with a capsule wardrobe with items that could mix and match.
Curvy Capsule Outfit #1: The Airport
I needed an outfit that was comfy and functional. Here was the situation – I was flying out of Los Angeles on a red-eye to New York. The weather was going to be different! My outfit needed to keep me warm and be comfy enough to sleep on the plane. We stayed at The Archer Hotel.
Outfit: Leggings, Shapewear Inspired Top, Overcoat, Sneakers, and a Striped Pullover
Curvy Capsule Outfit #2: Exploring the City
Next, I had a day to explore the city with my sister. I knew we would be walking a lot! We checked out the High Line. My plan was to wear something cute, comfy, and warm. I wore a thick turtleneck bodysuit, a mini pleated skirt, fleece-lined tights, boots, and an overcoat.
Outfit: Turtleneck Bodysuit, Pleated Skirt, Fleece-Lined Tights, Boots, and an Overcoat.
Curvy Capsule Outfit #3: Out to Dinner
After that, we went out to dinner to Ci Siamo. Everything we got was so good! The base of the outfit was pretty much the same. However, instead of a turtleneck bodysuit and skirt, I wore a bodycon dress.

Curvy Capsule Outfit #4: Out to Dinner (Again)
The next day, I was at an event for Amazon most of the day. Then, we went out to dinner at The Pecora Bianca. The tiramisu was amazing and perfect for dessert! I went with a black bodysuit, faux leather leggings, a scarf and my overcoat.

The MVPs of my curvy capsule were my boots and fleece-lined tights! The other piece that made my outfits was the overcoat. Lastly, going with one color, black, made it easy to figure out outfits!
