Although I am anxious for spring weather, the transition between seasons gives us a chance to layer a bit. Just as I mentioned in my post on How to Style Thrifted Clothing, we can ease into wearing brighter colors, dresses, and lighter fabrics. Alright, so, I gathered up a few tips to take you through this cusp of winter and spring.
“At this unpredictable time of year, it’s essential that you have a wardrobe that can seamlessly transition between the extremes.”

1. Wear white
Wearing white is supposed to be something women with curves avoid. Not me! I love the way a pair of white pants look with darker prints. White denim adds a crisps feel to winter florals.

2. Keep your blazers out
A blazer gives you some structure while keeping you warm. That’s what this ponte blazer did for me with this dress. I threw a belt on to cinch it at the waist!

3. Add a basket bag
Add a basket bag for a spring feel that you can keep going in the summer. I love me a fun basket bag. This bag is just the right size too. I buy one of these bags every spring. I know that I will pull it out in the summer as well.

4. Start wearing some color
Last but certainly not least! This is probably my favorite part of spring and summer – wearing color! I am just loving this punchy color of this wrap dress.
