A pencil skirt is a closet staple. Here’s the issue – I like the look of a pencil skirt. But, some don’t work. The fit needs to be right. So when I find one that works, I buy more than one!

I’m wearing a size xxl in all these skirts. This line can run big but I found that these skirts were true to size.

The pencil skirt in this post is from the Prologue line at Target. I wrote a post about it here. It’s a year later and this skirt still holds up. They came out with two more colors this season – which I scooped up!

Now you know that I like it if I buy more than one. I mentioned that I liked the fit, comfort, and versatility of this pencil skirt in my previous post. Here are the other reasons I’m liking this skirt:

Dime en Español
Ahora sabes que me gusta si compro más de uno. Mencioné que me gustó como me queda, la comodidad y la versatilidad de esta falda lápiz en mi publicación anterior.
Hay algunas razones más por las que me gusta esta falda.

1. Stretch
This pencil skirt moves with you since it has a good amount of stretch. The fabric skims your frame without constricting it. The fabric is thick enough for coverage and thin enough for movement.

2. Minimalist
Pull on and go! I like that this pencil skirt doesn’t have zippers and buttons. I can just pull it on and get on with it. That also lets me wear it higher up on the waist if I want to.

3. Neutral Colors
In addition to black, they added a gray and a brown pencil skirt this year. Those colors are the perfect for Fall. I like that both colors are a bit lighter. I think it makes them appear to be more expensive.
