Control what you can control - When things are cha Control what you can control - When things are chaotic ( 😬 eek like they are now), I try to focus on the things I can control. I can control what I do with my body 💪🏾. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Getting in some exercise helps me keep my energy 💥 up and sleep like a champ. Although I haven’t been as consistent as I was when I could go to the gym (ugh I complained so much but I miss the gym 💪🏾 ), I can immediately tell a difference in my energy 💥 & mood 😁 when I get some exercise. Aunque no he sido tan constante como cuando podía ir al gimnasio (uf, me quejé mucho pero extraño el gimnasio 💪🏾), puedo notar inmediatamente una diferencia en mi energía 💥 y estado de ánimo 😁 cuando hago ejercicio. Pantone announced the color of the year 🌈 , yel Pantone announced the color of the year 🌈 , yellow 💛 and gray🤍. I think this combination of colors is the perfect metaphor for life. I got some reasons why.  One reason is that yellow 💛 and gray 🤍 remind me of the ebb and flow 🌊 of energy. Like the push and pull we experience in life. For instance, I feel like there is always an ebb and flow to life, relationships, and creating. “It’s not the pace that makes me productive it “It’s not the pace that makes me productive it’s the outcome” Had to remind myself this week. Maybe you can relate to this- I can’t get as much done in 24 hours compared to pre-COVID times. Everything seems to just require more effort or I just have less energy. Anyway, I’ve noticed that I needed to accept the pace I can keep now. Now these are some of my favorite things to wear 🙋🏾‍♀️. I wasted so much time limiting myself because of what others would think. This taught me that: 1️⃣. Don’t rely on others to decide what works for you and 2️⃣. Here’s my weekend plan: -Hit @traderjoes up. I get there early to avoid the line & be safe. I get what we & my what my parents need. Always picking up their lavender sanitizer (if they have any) & chia seeds. -Go to @homegoods to get a print for a wall & cookware -Dye my hair with @esalon - my color is Medium Brown (Natural Golden). You know I’ve been using them since 2013! I try to dye it every 4-5 weeks. I feel like that is some self care 🧖🏾‍♀️ for me.
