You really can’t go wrong when you go with a classic combo. A cardigan is the perfect classic item to wear with a pleated skirt. Why? Because you can wear it buttoned up or open with a cami underneath.
Pleats add volume and visual interest. So, for that reason, you will want to keep the rest of the outfit simple! I paired my skirt with a basic bodysuit and a belt. You can do this same look with a long sleeve bodysuit or turtleneck.
This top requires a strapless bra (click the link to see my go to strapless) or convertible bra.
Here’s my motto – try it because you never know if you will like it. As a Midsize and Curvy woman, I truly believe that any style is game if it feels good when you put it on. That’s always where I start with an item. Does it feel good? If it doesn’t, then I skip it.
Alright, your turn, how will you wear your pleated skirt?
