I go with bold prints every now and then. Although I like smaller prints, it’s fun to change it up. However, I just try to be mindful of what I’m buying.

The floral dress in this post is sold out. Here are similar items:

If the thought of oversize florals and stripes sends you down a stress spiral, take a deep breath. Bold prints are more wearable than you think.

If I’m going to go out of my comfort zone, it better be something that I will actually wear! The item needs to be practical enough to fit into my lifestyle. I have another post with a bold print here.

There are a few questions I ask myself when I’m considering a print that’s more adventurous than my usual items. Here’s how to find bold prints you will wear.

Can I wear it work?
Being able to wear an item to work and weekend is always good! Means that I will wear it more.

Is it Versatile?
Can I wear it with different items? For instance, both of these dresses can be worn with a trench coat. I already wore the zebra print dress with a denim jacket to work.

Dime en Español
Los estampados vibrantes pueden funcionar cuando considero como me lo voy a poner! Tienen que ser artículos que si, en verdad, me van a quedar bien. Pienso en lo practico y como voy a combinarlo con la ropa que ya tengo

Is it Unique?
Go big or go home, right? In other words, if I am going to wear a big print, it better be something interesting. Having a loud print just for sake of being loud means I probably won’t wear it. I look for prints that will be visually interesting.
