Although I have been using eSalon hair color for some time, I just recently went to their Color Studio for the first time! Here is a review of my visit.

Getting my hair done was a bit of a treat! I had not gotten my hair done professionally in so long. It was nice to get a refresh. You can try eSalon by clicking here.

The Subscription
So, I have had an eSalon subscription since 2013! Once I started using it, there was no need to switch since it is so convenient. I like that it gets delivered to my house and I can adjust the delivery date. I message their colorists when I want to make adjustments to my hair color. The colorist are honest about what will turn out well and what won’t on your hair.

How It Works

The Color Studio gave me the experience of a professional application using my usual custom color. What I liked is that there is an education piece to the visit. The colorist gave me some ideas on how prep my hair for the color.
Hearing about what to do to fully cover my grays in terms of the application process and time helped. He also suggested some products that I could try out with my curly hair. I will definitely be going back for a visit just to change up my monthly root touch up.

Products to Try
Along with hair color, there a few products that I use for my curls from eSalon.

1. Camo Mist – This is great for those weeks in between hair color touch ups. I just spray this on wherever I see any grays coming in.
2. Universal Leave-In – I add this to my styling routine in the morning. This gives my curls a refresh since I don’t wash my hair everyday.
3. Shine Silk – Last, but not least is this goodie. I also add this to my styling routine. It adds just enough shine and smells amazing!
