It’s getting warmer so layering with clothes isn’t going work. So let’s layer our accessories.
And, that’s what we are Mixing Up in this post.
I got this comfy and light top from Old Navy to wear on repeat this summer. I love that it is basic and can paired up with a variety of items. I’m wearing a size Large and this top sells for $24.
These jeans! Another item I wear quite a bit. Super comfy and versatile. These Old Navy Rockstar jeans sell for $34 and I’m wearing size 16. One thing to note with these jeans. I own some that are a size 14 then others in a size 16. The Rockstar jeans stretch so you gotta try them on. Some styles are a little more snug than others.
On to the accessories! If I like something and the price is right, no matter the store, I will buy it. My necklace was a little goodie I picked up from Cost Plus World Market a few seasons ago. This store has so many cute as well as unique necklaces and bracelets. This necklace adds a little subtle shine to the outfit.
Next up are two pieces a snagged from TJ Maxx. The funny thing with TJ Maxx is that I don’t go in there with a plan of what I want. Since their inventory changes so much, I’m looking for what catches my eye. That’s how I scooped up these last two items.
My flats, by Restricted, are super comfy and funky. The clutch is from Isaac Mizrahi. These two, together, add that pop of color that I love.
…Because getting dressed (and living life) should feel good!
