When I buy something, I make sure I have an idea of what I can pair it with. There are a lot of pieces with a bit of sparkle for the holidays. Especially for New Years Eve! Problem is that I don’t want a piece that is a “one & done”.
Let’s be real, I am not going out on the town for NYE. So, I’m not dropping a bunch of money on clothes that will only be worn once. My answer: Get an outfit together that has a little sparkle with pieces that can be worn again another time.
Like I mentioned in the last post, I like pairing unexpected items together. The skirt, once again, is the inspiration. So, here are two ways to wear pieces together to avoid the “one & done” syndrome.
That’s what we are mixing up in this post!
I am back at it again with mixing up casual and dressy pieces.
Outfit #1 Target Who What Wear Tee & Skirt
Target Who What Wear has these amazing linen tees. They have longer sleeves that can be folded up or worn down. This tee also has some gold speckles in the fabric. Makes it a little dressier.
On top of the hint of gold, this tee is comfy. It’s long enough to wear tucked in or out. I am wearing an XL.
Next hint of gold comes from this Target Who What Wear skirt. This fun little swing style skirt also has little gold dots on the fabric. There are these cute little dots all over the skirt.
The fit of this skirt is also pretty flattering.
Outfit #2 Target Merona Shirt & Target Who What Wear Skirt
Having a nice basic white button shirt is a must. I had one in the past and run that one into the ground! Snagged this one at Target the other day. What I like about this shirt is the structure. And that it actually fits! I’m wearing a 2XL.
